Overview

The CO-250 is a unique offline electronic lock solution in which access rights are stored on the user’s magnetic stripe credential, not on the lock.

This allows dynamic rights management on the card without reprogramming each lock individually. The lock still maintains an audit trail of events at the door. This makes it a smart and economical solution for campus environments with a large number of users and offline openings.

The CO-250 utilizes the Schlage Utility Software (SUS) mobile app in conjunction with access control software solutions for programming updates. SUS and the SUS-A cable allow you to configure the locks, update programming and retrieve audits or lock diagnostics. Lock and unlock schedules, time zones and holidays can be programmed through the access control software¹ for added security and convenience.

Cylindrical, mortise, mortise deadbolt and exit trim chassis options are available as well as a wide variety of finishes and levers to suite with existing hardware.

If needed, a toggle code can be used to change to a locked or unlocked state

Pressing the interior push button allows users to leave door unlocked

Privacy (40)

Pressing the inside push button disables normal electronic access from the exterior (lock will reset to normal locked status after egressing or pressing push button again)

To ensure safety, all functions always allow for free egress
