CTE Single Door Controller with Multi-Technology Reader

The CTE is a single opening controller that allows perimeter and common area openings to be managed in a single system along with Schlage Control® smart deadbolts, NDE cylindrical and LE mortise wireless locks. It is ideal for multifamily, commercial mixed use, narrow stile and retail store front applications.

Overview

Designed for flexibility, the CTE ENGAGE single door controller is ideal for multifamily, commercial mixed use, narrow stile and retail storefront applications. It allows perimeter and common area openings to be managed in a single system along with Schlage Control® smart deadbolts, NDE cylindrical and LE mortise wireless locks.

The CTE is sold with a Schlage® MTB mobile enabled multi-technology credential reader (MTB11-485 or MTB15-485) and is designed to interface with an electrified lock, electromagnetic lock, electric strike, automatic operator or exit device to control an opening.  

The CTE single door controller is designed for flexibility and can be managed with ENGAGE mobile apps or with one of our Physical Access Control Software (PACS) Alliance Member systems.

Security

  • Allows an up to 5,000  users with audit trail of up to 2,000 events 
  • Inputs include door position (DPS), request to exit (REX), request to enter (REN) and remote release (REL)

Compatibility

The CTE single door controller with MTB mobile enabled multi-technology reader will read Schlage® Mobile Bluetooth® Credentials, industry-leading smart credentials as well as proximity credentials. When installed as part of a proximity credential based system, the multi-technology reader will enable you to step up over time to more secure and versatile smart or mobile technology.

Updating

  • Update at the door using smart phone or tablet 
  • Connect directly to Wi-Fi network for overnight updates
  • No Tour with MT20W and smart credential or mobile credential (consult your access control software provider for specific support)

 

Note that the CTE can be reset to factory default status and connected to a Software Alliance Member (SAM) system if needs change in the future.  If additional functionality is required, please visit our Software Alliances web page for integration details, solution sheets and technical information.
