Overview
CO-220 is an offline classroom lockdown solution that enables the immediate lockdown of up to ten CO-220 locks should an emergency arise. Using a remote fob worn by the teacher, lockdown can occur within two seconds of pressing the fob button. An LED visual indicator on the lock continually signals lockdown status so that teachers and students can stay a safe distance from the door. This provides a code compliant solution that always enables free egress even in lockdown mode.
CO-220 is simple to manage and less costly than a networked system. It is a manually programmed or computer managed solution and user rights are stored on the lock. The Schlage Utility Software (SUS) mobile app and SUS-A cable, used in conjunction with access control software, allows you to easily add or delete users, set auto lock and unlock schedules, and retrieve audits.
Credential support includes PIN, proximity, and magnetic stripe; multi-factor authentication (card + PIN) is available for additional security.
CO-220 can work in the same offline system as AD-200, CO-200 and CT5000.
