Education

Our children spend nearly 11,500 hours in schools throughout their K-12 careers and even more when time when they are in college.  There are unprecedented safety and securing threats, including fires, natural disasters and intruders.  Allegion advises taking a “layered security” approach that can effectively deter, detect, and delay adversarial behaviors.

Allegion solutions are a piece of a layered and total safe school approach – a big piece in terms of providing safety and security for both the building and classroom perimeters.  However, the issue of school security is more than a product conversation for Allegion, as we work to help make schools safer with a variety of industry partners and leaders, such as the Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS).
